I love accent marks and French names, yet they don't allow them in some US states. They make the name look so sophisticated.
The spelling
Raffaele looks very nice, though I don't think I have seen it before.
Rafael is 526 in the US, whereas
Rafael is 258. There is a lot of Spanish speakers and Hispanic people in the US which is probably why as
Rafael is the Spanish spelling.
