What do you think? Does it strike you as too "old" or "beardy" (yes, a description I got!) sounding, or do you think it could be ready for a comeback? (Calling it old will neither hurt my feelings nor deter me--don't worry. ;)
Would you want to call an
Alphonse by a nickname? The ones I've thought of are Alphie/Alfie (dislike this, myself),
Al,
Ali, and Fonzi! ;)
My favourite is
Ali, and I have to admit it's influenced by the fact that
Alan Alda was born
Alphonse and called
Ali as a child.
And middle names--oh, the question of middle names. I've thought of
Alphonse Christian,
Alphonse Riley, and
Alphonse Lemuel. Opinions-comments-suggestions-insults? ;D
Thanks.
