Wow, I thought Katie had gone out of fashion! Are these their full names?

Katie is the only spelling that works for me, but Catie is okay for Catherine. The -y versions look really misspelled to me.

It's okay as a nickname. I dislike it as a full name. Katherine nn Katie is super boring but fine.

My daughter-in-law goes by Katy. She has said the -y version makes sense because her name is Kathryn.
