Hortensia reminds me of Horatia and Honoria.
It's a beautiful flower, but bad name material. It looks "stuffy" and sounds pretentious.

It's stunning)) One of my favourite along with hyacinth and calla lily.
P.S. Unfortunately, I don't like Hyacinth as a name. And I wouldn't use Calla due to unpleasant associations in my native language.

Hyacinth low-key sounds like the name of a drug or disease anyhow and Calla is pretty meh.
