1. It's my name and I come across a lot of people with it (in the UK), first name and middle name. It's not as common as
Emily,
Emma,
Olivia,
Isabella, etc. though.
2. I think being called
Elizabeth in full is indeed do-able, although I personally go by
Betsy (my great-grandmother's name).
3. I love the nickname
Lizzie, actually.
4.
Liz used to sound kind of dated to me, but it's growing on me. The 'z' is snazzy.
Ellie is better as a nickname for
Eleanor /
Elinor in my opinion, but I like it and there's no real reason it shouldn't be short for
Elizabeth.
5. Well,
Betsy, because it's my nickname. I also love
Lily though.
6. It's not boring at all! It's classic and timeless, and again, the 'z' is snazzy. I know quite a few.

LISTEN TO THE MUSTN'TS
-
Shel Silverstein
Listen to the MUSTN'TS, child,
Listen to the DON'TS
Listen to the SHOULDN'TS
The IMPOSSIBLES, the WON'TS
Listen to the NEVER HAVES
Then listen close to me—
Anything can happen, child,
ANYTHING can be.
