It's okay...ticks most of the 'good name' boxes, anyway...
*easy to say and spell
*has an appealing/unusual sound
*has history
*has an evocative meaning or pretty associated imagery
I've read a story before with a character named Cloud in it.
It's a place name because it's a saint's name.
It reminds me of-
Claude, Claudia, Clodagh, Nephele, Rainbow, Misty
It also reminds me of Google cloud and by extension, the borg.
It's floaty, dynamic, elusive, and interdependent.
I think I like it most when I substitute it in combos I'd use Claude in. They *almost* sound the same but are way less stuffy.
Like: Cloud Sinclair / Leandre Cloud
Or, something like Cloud Nerissa / Nerys Cloud / Cloud Aludra would be kinda pretty. Or Cloud Mavis, Cloud Meital, Cloud Trishna, Cloud Maya, Cloud Veda, Cloud Mehrnaz are kinda fun...
It could be a NN for Claudia.
