Cruz Matteo Quintero (15) is Flora's boyfriend. They've known each other since childhood. Cruz wants to be a lawyer when he gets older. He has a job at a local grocery store. Flora meets him there after school and he often takes her home. Flora is almost like a sister they're together so often, and Cruz loves her dearly. He plans to marry her as soon as he graduates law school, so he has a bit to wait. But Cruz is very patient.
