I like them both, prefer Liesel

I love Lieselotte and Liesel, though I prefer the latter spelt Liesl. I think they would be fine in an English-speaking country.

I think both names are very darling. I think it would be okay to use in modern day America, though there may at times be pronunciation issues.

I prefer Liesl to Liesel aesthetically, but love this name. Liesl also looks less like diesel.

Liselotte could also be easier to understand, I guess.

Liesel is usable. Lieselotte might be more difficult.

Looks too much like diesel for my personal preference.
