Help[Opinions] Need a name for a character
Do any of you have name ideas for an anthro tiger queen inspired by monarchs in Southeast Asia? My name idea is "Preahneangkhla" (from Khmer ព្រះនាងខ្លា "tiger queen") but I don't like it due to being long and hard to pronounce.

Taika means Tiger
You could use Preahneangkhla, but give her the nickname Preah, Rheah or Ahne.
Or use a name that contains Tiggy (like Antigone)
Tigers are part of the Felidae family and I think Felidae would make a good name for your character.
Other tigers that could be used as inspiration
The Caspian tiger (latin name: virgata)
The Siberian tiger (latin name: altaica)
The South China tiger (latin: amoyensis) - Queen Amoyensis has a nice ring to it

What you could do is give your character the name you've chosen, but have her go by something like Priya or Kala so your readers aren't put off by the spelling/pronunciation. I'd also recommend looking at names with meanings related to tiger, feline, queen, or cat- I found a handful with the advanced search here on BtN. Here are some of my favorites.

Seu: From Lao ເສືອ (seu), meaning tiger. It's not actually used as a name in Laos but it does mean tiger. There is however, a name that means lion (Siho- it's on the site here: https://www.behindthename.com/name/siho/submitted)
