Ashe: Don't like the e on the end, and the name Ash feelh feels rather aggressively, deliberately ambisexual.
Constance: Stiff and stuffy to the point of constipation. Connie is kind of nice in a grandmotherly way.
Dorothea. Also stuffy and rather sour. I like Dorothy better.
Juno: Sounds like a dog's or cat's name.
Liliana: It's okay, but I like Lillian better. Lilys of every stripe are a dime a dozen.
Marybelle: If you wanted to use Mary, just use it and don't tack on the Belle, which dates it badly.
Rowan: Again, aggressively unisex.
Yumi: Easy to pronounce ... as Yummy. If you're not Japanese, leave this one alone.
Before you criticize a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way, when you criticize him, you're a mile away and you have his shoes!
