It's laughable. I would assume the story is tall tale the kid was making up for attention too! But now that I think about it, I'm shocked this isn't a more popular name in America. They love names that are like bunt objects that advertise the parent's beliefs, and you can't get much more blunt than Bible.

If I had to use Bible.... Gosh, it looks silly next to anything. It starts feeling like an adjective for the "real" name in the middle... like if you knew a lady named Jean who never stops talking about the bible, so she becomes "Bible Jean".
