Jace went through some popularity with Cassandra Clare's The Mortal Instruments series, where he was the main love interest. I remember reading that book when it was still Harry Potter fanfiction lol
Anyway, I'm not a fan of it as a full name but it's fine as a nn.
I think fantasy books are big among Mormons. Or at least there's a surprising amount of Mormon fantasy writers: https://youtu.be/tTQLxR2ggUg?si=mMnY-bMHehDEbwlU (a video by Alyssa Grenfell talking about Mormon fantasy authors. She's a former Mormon who speaks a lot of Mormon culture in a really engaging way. I'm not Mormon but caught her review of Heretic and got sucked into her videos, which are all fascinating.)
