[Opinions] Re: HALLELUJAH!
In the bible, Scarlet represents sin. The woman in Revelation is clothed in Scarlet. But to me the name is totally fine.

Um, not to mention The Scarlet Letter by Hawthorne, if you want a better literary connection.
Scarlet represent sin in that novel, too.
I am a Christian, and no Christians have said anything bad about my name yet. Except a very nice pastor who I met, who said that "it's the color of Jesus' blood."
I'm unbothered. I like my name.
I knew at least three girls growing up named Scarlett, but then again I was a Baptist in a predominantly Baptist community so that bias possibly doesn't exist in that population.. or at least in the one I was in. Then again, I also knew a few Delilah's too so perhaps my community was more based on aesthetic than implications. My childhood nickname in my friend group was Delilah too purely for aesthetic and being biblical without the implications.Edit: Actually for Scarlett it was just the two I believe. Misremembering

Wow, two Scarlets? I was born in the 2000s and my name seemed relatively unpopular then... it jumped up around 2011-2012.
Too bad about Delilah, I like the sound of the name.
Yes, but 1 was named for the other 😆
