[Facts] How do you pronounce Aurelia and Safiya?
I was wondering how you pronounce Aurelia and Safiya? I like the way I would pronounce them but I want to make sure that I am pronouncing them right before deciding to use the names.
Thank You.

I had a family member named Aurelia and it was pronounced uh-reel-ya or uh-reel-ee-uh. Can't help you with Safiya though.

My mom's name is Aurelia, and we prn it Uh-rill-ya. I think it's probably just the way people around here prn the phonetics that others have spelled out already. FYI: sometimes prn are found in a name's entry if you read the comments that others have contributed (link is in the box to the right side of the screen as 'Comments') -http://behindthename.com/comment/search.php?terms=aureliaDoesn't work every time, like with Safiya, but it might help you in the future. :)

In Australia, Aurelia is oh-REEL-ee-uh (approximately - it's somewhere between 'oh' and 'aw')
