[Opinions] Amy?
I've suddenly fallen in love with Amy. I used to think that it was way too popular, but I realised that these days it's much less popular than some other names I like. And while I used to think of it as childish, I'm now seeing it as fresh.
So . . . WDYT of Amy?
What middle names do you suggest for Amy (I like classic names, nothing modern/creative)?
Thanks in advance :-)

I like it a lot, but would only use it as a mn. It used to be quite popular, but it seems like it's not being used very often now.
I'd give you mns, but so many people already replied and I don't really want to go look through to see which ones people already told you. Sorry :-(

I like it's meaning... 'beloved'
I love it. It's very sweet and pretty, and nicely simple, too. I don't care how popular it is because I like it anyways.
I like Amy, though I prefer it spelled Amie, simply because that's the way one of my friends spells it, and I love her to bits. Her middle name is Besse (the e is silent, so it's just pronounced Bess).

It's an okkay name. I've never met anyone with the name Amy. It's more like that random nice name everyone's heard of. I wouldn't think of Amy as a classic name though. It's more modern. I can imagine both an athletic person or artsy person with it. But I can see more of an artys person with it.

I think it's nice too. What I've noticed is that there are a lot of people around my age named it, but hardly any newborns these days get it. It's not at all contrived and overbearing and pretentious. I like it.

I'm not a huge fan of it as it's always seemed dated to me, BUT Miss Amy Rae has turned me on to the combo Amy Rae, but I would have to use it as a double FN, I think. I also know an Amy Elizabeth, and I think that's rather pretty.
