As a fan of George R. R. Martin's fantasy series, I tend to like the name.
However, it's certainly a name that should be avoided by people who have a surname that would lead to a humorous sentence "Are you ...?" interpretation of the whole name. For example, Arya should be avoided by parents whose surname is Reddy, Sadd, True, or Woolley. :)
