I love it, along with Judah, Jonah, and Asher. I think it's great- with a great history and lots of character and charm. ;)

Joash is one of those I waffle on; somedays I absolutely love it and think it's God's gift to naming, and other days, I think it's ho-hum.Fortunately, you caught me on a good day! :oDJoash Keegan

Almost sounds like "Jewish". I prefer Joshua. God bless,

Never heard of Joash. Is it a combo of Jonah and Josh or Jonas and Joshua? Also is it for a girl or a boy, you just can't tell these days!Signed Jedi Scribe, Quigonjecca

Joash is a Hebrew name from the Bible meaning "fire of Yahweh" and it is a boy's name. You can just click on the link of the name to see all of that

People might mistake it for Josh. I honestly don't care for Joash, Joshua, or Josh to be honest.

It's nice, but I think most people would confuse it for Josh.

Thats the thing I think that would stop me from using it because I really hate the names Josh and Joshua. The thing is that it doesn't sound anything like it to me, it just looks like it

I've never been able to warm to this one sorry - it looks to me like a dry chemical used in manufacturing (no doubt because of potash lol).I prefer Joshua "Josh".
