[Opinions] Fiona
What do you think of this name? Do you have any MN suggestions?

Love it. Fiona Maeve
It's so overused where I live :-( Not so much anymore, but from the 50s until the 80s baby girls were all being given the name. For that reason, it sounds dull to me. I'd probably like it otherwise.
I once loved it. Then Fiona Apple came on the scene, and I dropped it to "like".. then Shrek. So much for that. I also found out it does not have the authentic prn "FEEna" -- believing it did had given it tons of charm, for me. FeeOHna sounds a bit weird.
Anyway, I still like it; I just wouldn't use it myself.
off-the-cuff mn suggestions:
Fiona Charmaine
Fiona Ursula
Fiona Iola
Fiona Miranda
Fiona Hermione

Fiona doesn't have the authentic pron. FEE-na ... but, confusingly, the Irish name Fíona does :-S It's sometimes spelled Fina, to clarify that.
Yes, that's what I said - it does not have that prn :-)
A great source on Fiona:

It also seems to suggest that the Irish name Fíona is possibly a modern invention in reaction to Fiona.
