lol, yea, thats what ive been told too and found places. never understood it so i thought someone here might. thanks

It's an Irish Gaelic name, so the spelling is based on an entirely different language. That's why :-) The 'mh' is very like the 'bh' in Siobhan (another Irish Gaelic spelling).
