OSS-ee-in (first syllable rhymes with Ross)

Well, in my language, it's pronounced ohs-see-Ahn. First time I saw that name in a poem "I have not heard the tales of Ossian" ages ago.
But I believe you want to know how English-speakers pronounce this name...

Reminds me a bit of OcéaneAnd in addition to this I would probably pronounce it very similarly.

OSS-see-ehn (kind of).aw-sheen is Oisín.

My first guess was AU-see-ən but I knew that was wrong. The true pronunciation is much better in my opinion.

Ahhh okay...It seems to be a spelling variant of Oisín so it should be aw-sheen (see Oisín). But it sure doesn't look like it! I would avoid this spelling, I think Ossian will become OSS-see-ehn or OSH-ehn but never aw-sheen whereas with Oisín people are more likely to just ask how it is pronounced.

Without looking it up, its a variant of Oisín? Yes? O-Sheen.

uhSHEEN. And you?

If it’s an anglicisation of Oisin, then oh-sheen / ush-een (different areas of Ireland have different pronunciations). There is also the Welsh version Osian which is pronounced more like OSH-an.

I'm almost certainly mispronouncing it, but... OS-ee-ən?

It’s pronounced oh-SHEEN, approximately.
