WDYTO Winry
So Winry is the name of a character from Fullmetal Alchemist, and awhile back I was thinking about the name for future pets, etc. but I think it’s pretty even for a person. Genuinely curious to hear any and all thoughts on it! Idk if I’d ever use it for a child myself, but I think it could be a really cute name

It sounds like a toddler trying to pronounce his brother Henry's name.

I'm not crazy about the idea of naming children after anime characters.

Can I ask why, I don't see it as much different from naming your kid Khaleesi or something.

I find it a bit awkward - I want to say Winny or Wintry instead.

or winery ...Which is what it really looks like, someone misspelling winery.

I like it! I've only seen a bit of it, but I liked her instantly, and it's a cool name imo. It feels very modern and on trend, but a bit different.

Honestly I wish someone would make this name popular because it has so much potential! (maybe it would've done better in the 70s/80s...)I think it fits in seamlessly with the likes of Wendy or Ginny, and it's a possible nn for Winifred.Edit: 86 people named their daughter Winry in the US in 2020, so that's pretty cool
