I would have pronounced it Uh-DAY-see-ah. I think if the name is spelt so kree8tiv that it can get easily mispronounced, then you shouldn't feel bad about pronouncing it incorrectly. The mother should have been able to see that coming. I don't think it's a great name but I've heard worse.
