[Opinions] Re: Cyan
I think I've heard the color cyan pronounced as SYE-an, so that's what I might assume. But I've also seen Cyan and Cian used for boys and pronounced KYE-an and KEE-an, respectively, so I'd be very unsure of pronunciation and gender upon first glance. Comments:
Alba - Makes me think of the band Abba or Thomas Alva Edison. I wouldn't use it on a person, but it might be cute for a pet. :b
Emmanuelle - Oh, I think this is a character or actress in a series of soft-porn movies. At least in the U.S. So that's what I think.
:-/
Fabiana - Makes me think of Fabio and Fabian, so mushy romance-y things.
Merryn - I'd prefer Maren, Maryn or Merrin, but I do like it.
Tessa - Like it, but prefer Tess.
Viviana - A little frilly for me but pretty. Prefer Vivian and Vivienne nn Vivi.Darcy - Love this because of "Pride & Prejudice" (even though it was his surname)
Hosea (hoe-ZAY-ah) - Very Biblical. Makes me think of a hose. :(
Ronan - Love it
Silas - LOve it
Trueman - Truman would be better, imo, but it's still very surname-y. Trueman looks like "man that is true". :b
