I totally disagree. I think YOU can creat any nickname you wish. The issue arises when other's come up with their own. So I think you can definitely call Cynthia Thia, but Cecelia will be called Ceci by some, even if it's not you!

Why would you say the topic has nothing to do with the subject? We are discussing Cecelia vs Cynthia...

You answered the post by posting under someones reply instead of under the original post, this can get confusing as the post you put your message under didnt mention anything you were talking about.
You are only meant to post under someone elses reply if you are addressing them not the original poster.
Hope that makes sence
