Hello idk if I’m doing this right but I am Mexican and reside in the state of Ohio in the US. My name is John Ornelas and to my knowledge it is my dad’s last name and his dad before him and that’s where my traces stop. Every time I ask about the last name it always ends in Guadalajara Jalisco Mexico. And no one knows more. I would like to find out as many generations I can back you know my great great great grandfathers. I’ve heard the name is portugués also Spaniard and also Italian. I would just like to know where the great great person I’m related first went to Mexico and mixed with the Mexicans or Mexican native Americans if that makes sense? So to be clearer I know that someone maybe with the last name Ornelas arrived in Mexico and had a family with someone native from there.
