It doesn't seem like anyone has acted on your submitted correction at this point ( https://surnames.behindthename.com/submit/discuss.php?id=251396 ). I am going to move this post to the surname message board where an editor might more readily see it.
If you want, you could submit it as a parallel name to the existing Locklear entry. If it turns out the name does have two unconnected origins then they should be separate entries anyways.
