I love Emmaline / Emmeline! Emma and Emily are so used, but they are nice nn. I too have been looking for a good name that is a variant of John, because I have alot of John's in my family, and just plain John doesn't sound that great with the male names I like. Ian is nice. But it is also kind of popular right now, just like Evan and Jonathan. But with boys names I tend not to care if they are popular or not popular, as much as with girls names. Eoin is also a nice version of John.
