I met a woman today who had a daughter named Adaycia. When I pronounced it Uh-Day-shuh she said, "No, it's actually Uh-Dah-shuh, but I didn't think about that when I spelled it." She actually seemed genuinely sorry that she had spelled it that way. I felt bad that I pronounced it incorrectly as well.
