Yes, Irina Alexandra flows very well where as Alix is cute but doesn't flow.
I love history too, my favorite is Queen Victoria, and for a while I had her name on my list. I also love her children's names and have considered using one of those as well.
I'm also fascinated by Mary, Queen of Scots and technicaly the name Mary is on my list (Julia Mary) but it's there more to honor relatives than to honor her. But there's another reason to use Mary! :)
I also enjoyed learning about Nicholas & Alexandra and their children, especially Anastasia.
