I love the story about her, and how told it to many children to explain the seasons (no, the parents have not gotten back to me about it). I can't understand why one would see anything negative in the myth about her.
I don't think the length is a problem either, not much longer than
Penelope for instance.
It is just that it is so unusual that it would take people a bit of getting used to, but so what? There are plenty of unusual names, and this is not made up, it is from classical mythology, if anybody asks there's a solid source.
I would love to see the name used.
