To me,
Ciaran is KEER-awn and
Kieran is KEER-an. Subtle but important difference. :) I far far far prefer
Ciaran.
1. Do you like the sound? (Sound only, despite connotations)?
I love the sound of
Ciaran.
2. What is your impression of it? What kind of assumptions would you make about someone with that name?
I don't really have assumptions based on
Ciaran, to be honest.
3. Do you think that a little boy named
Ciaran would be teased? Especially with the popularity of
Kiera?
I don't know about in Canada.
4. Do you think that the name
Ciaran would age well (Regardless of the supposed "Irish" trend)?
Yes, I think so.
5.
Can you think of any drawbacks/negative associations?
Um. No.
6.
Can you think of any positive associations?
Nope.
7. Does the combo
Ciaran George Derry sound good? (Middle names must honour family). Other possibilities,
Richard,
John,
James,
Robert, suggestions?
Ciaran Derry James is nice. :)
8. How does
Ciaran fit in with
Kiefer,
Harrison,
Liam? Is
Kiefer &
Ciaran too close?
I think it's fine with all those names.
