Yeah, I explained the "dinner" connotation to my husband, but he is holding out hope. It's the most common nickname suggested by his family. Funnily, Nadz is the second suggestion, from his mom.
Nadz is nah-dz instead of nad-z, but I see your point, and thanks.
Nina I like! But Nena is a name for a first daughter and she is the second so he may not go for it.
