Before this thread I have never seen anyone put an "h" into this pet form for Louise. It is normally spelled Weezie or Weezy. And as someone who still pronounces "wh" differently from "w", these are not even the same forms to me. Even for those who never pronounce the "h" in "wh" words, spelling it this way is a bad idea. Who wants to have a nickname that can be interpreted as having been given because you wheeze a lot?
