Meaning & History

My great grandfather Frank Hodny homesteaded in Lankin, North Dakota, came from Czechoslovakia in 1870's. With his brother Joseph Hodny, both had large families.
Hodny name is still living here. I'm in Grand Forks, ND and know over a 100 Hodny people.
Hodny means good.
