Ianto was born & raised in Seattle, Washington but when he was 15 his family moved to Cardiff, Wales so that his mother could be closer to her parents. Ianto didn’t know anyone besides his family in Cardiff, but being a very outgoing person who never shies away from a challenge he made friends quickly & soon felt just as at home in Wales as he ever had in America. When he was 19 he enrolled in Cardiff University as an English Major. When he was 20 he switched his major to Computer Sciences.
Toshi was born & raised in Tokyo, Japan. When he was 16 his father’s job required that their family move to Cardiff, Wales for a couple years. His father finished his work in Cardiff a month before Toshi’s 18th birthday but when his family returned to Japan Toshi decided to stay behind. He had always been a shy person & hadn’t made many friends after coming to Wales but he was intrigued by the county & being the curious boy that he was he wanted to learn more about it. Just after his 18th birthday he began taking classes at Cardiff University, specifically the Cardiff School of Computer Science & Informatics.
Ianto & Toshi met on the first day of classes 3 years ago.
