I think Agnes has great hipster appeal. It's on the same wavelength as Frances and Matilda in the growing interest in its revival.
Aggie is indeed rather adorable. Very fresh and pert.
To keep Agnes from being too musty, I'd pair it with something zippy and approachable, like:
Agnes Poppy
Agnes Bella or Agnes Ella
Agnes Eliza
Agnes Ida
Agnes Zoe (not crazy about the s-z transition but I love the look of it)
Agnes Phoebe
Agnes Ivy
Agnes Lucy
Agnes Lily
