I've always loved initial nicknames (CJ, TJ, etc.) on girls. It stems from my family calling me "JJ," I'm pretty sure... It's not my nickname, but my brother calls me JJ pretty consistently (though others only use it sparingly). I love it when a girl has a initial nickname and a very girly name behind it.
I've always planned on Molly June (or Mollie June) with the nickname "MJ", but I've been tossing around other options lately. "TJ," "DJ" and "EJ" all sound good, too! I'm having trouble coming up with other ones, though (that don't involves a J!). And, unfortunately, the only J names I like for girls are June, Juniper, Joanna, and Jane. Leaving me with very few options.
So, how do people feel about initial nicknames, for girls? Which do you like best? And, could you guys come up with some combo's for me?
D names: Daisy, Delfina, Delia, Delilah, Della, Delphina, Delphine, Diana
E names: Eleanor, Elisabeth, Elizabeth, Eliza, Ella, Ellen, Emilia, Emma, Emmeline, Estelle, Eve
M names: Madeleine, Madeline, Mae, Maeve, Magnolia, Mara, Margaret, Maria, Matilda, Maura, May, Meredith, Miranda, Mollie, Molly
T names: Talia, Tara, Thalia, Thea, Theodora, Tira
J names: Jane, Joanna, June, Juniper
Thanks oodles!
ETA - RJ? And, is the whole idea too trendy? Opinions, please! :)
