Year 1:
Sarah and her siblings threw a big party for their mother's 50th birthday this year.
Year 2:
Julien and Sarah took a vacation together to the Philippines, since they did not take a honeymoon the first year they were married. They really enjoyed their time on the islands.
Year 3:
Julien got a promotion in his construction business! He is now a manager, which he really enjoys. He now gets to have more input and is in charge of several sites at once.
Year 4:
Julien and Sarah adopted a child from the U.S. Eight-year-old Beckett Russell has straight black hair and hazel eyes. His parents divorced when he was two. His father died not long afterwards, and his mother was found mentally unfit to care for Beckett. He has lived in several foster homes since he was four, and he is excited to settle down with Julien and Sarah.
Year 5:
Sarah left the hospital she was working in for a less stressful job at an outpatient clinic. The clinic is still in its beginning stages, but Sarah is happy to help the business get started.
Year 6:
Julien and Sarah had begun to wonder if they would be able to have children biologically, so they were happily surprised when they found out they were expecting! Scarlet Claire has wavy brown hair and green eyes.
Year 7:
Julien, Sarah, Beckett, and Scarlet took a two-week vacation to California, U.S., to visit Sarah's sister and her family. Beckett and Scarlet loved getting to see their cousins.
Year 8:
A series of bad storms hit the Harris family's house. A large part of their roof was destroyed, and Julien had to get a new car after his was crushed under a fallen tree. Luckily, Julien got his construction company to replace to roof at a discounted rate.
Year 9:
While playing football (soccer) with some of his friends, Beckett fell and broke his leg. He used crutches for a few weeks to get around, but he healed quickly.
Year 10:
On their tenth anniversary, Julien and Sarah found out that they were pregnant again! This time, they were expecting twins, a boy and a girl. Henry August has curly black hair and hazel eyes, while Hazel Eloise has wavy red hair and blue eyes.
Year 11:
The Harris family adopted a guinea pig, which they named Sally.
Year 12:
Sarah found out again that she was pregnant! They had another girl, Georgia Lucille, who has curly brown hair and brown eyes.
Year 13:
When Sarah traveled to Peru for a mission trip with several other doctors, she met an orphaned six-year-old girl named Lorena Gabriela. Lorena was living with her aunt, but her aunt could not afford to take care of her and would have to send her to an orphanage run by the state. Sarah contacted Julien, and they quickly filed paperwork to adopt Lorena. Lorena moved in with the Harris family six months later.
Year 14:
The family had a big party for Beckett on his 18th birthday. All of their family came in town, and Beckett invited many of his friends over, too.
Year 15:
Julien and Sarah decided to try for one more child. They had another girl. Josephine Ellen has curly red hair and hazel eyes.
