I don't dislike the name, my husband does. I like the name and I like the name's meaning.
Plus, everyone is goofy and unusual in their own ways. My brother spelled out his name with his kids - Brianna, Emma, Natalie, Lily - Ben L. I'm honoring a cool woman who had a neat history - pretty similar to someone who honors a historical poet or writer that they didn't know. And that is done all the time.
